  1. I took clients leaving personal at first, but like Rich I have come to realize it’s just part of business. I’ve had clients leave for lots of different reasons, but price is a big factor.

    Here is what has served me well, as a freelancer and (present) full time employee with a large corporation.
    “You owe your customers/employer your best efforts, they owe you a day of pay.” Anything more is gravy.
    Business and money are technical. When they become personal, you will never win and always loose.
